a- System Information Tool: “msinfo32”

Type “msinfo32” into the Windows search bar or press WIN + R on the keyboard to open the Run dialog, then type “msinfo32” and press Enter. The System Information window will appear, displaying the system model, which corresponds to your notebook’s model. Additionally, this window provides information about the computer’s RAM, motherboard BIOS version, and CPU details.

b- Windows Diagnostic Tool: “dxdiag”

Type “dxdiag” into the Windows search bar or press WIN + R on the keyboard to open the Run dialog, then type “dxdiag” and press Enter. In the window that appears, you can find the system model. This tool also provides information about integrated and external graphics card models, if available, under the Display and Render tabs.

c- Windows Command Prompt: “cmd”

The Command Prompt is an essential tool in Windows. You can use it to find both the notebook’s model and serial number. Type “cmd” into the Windows search bar or press WIN + R on the keyboard to open the Run dialog, then type “cmd” and press Enter. In the black command prompt window, to see the serial number of the laptop, type “wmic bios get serialnumber” and press Enter. The serial number will be displayed as SerialNumber. To see the model of the device, type “wmic csproduct get name” and press Enter. The model will be displayed under the Name field.

By using one of these three methods in Windows, you can easily find the computer’s model and serial number without the need for any additional software.
